Just ask. Aviator answers.
Aviator is the AI assistant built for Texas A‑F accountability. Ask about STAAR, your ratings, or a single student in plain English, and get the students, the TEKS, and the next step. It's FERPA-safe and built into CoPilot Data.
Built by a Texas educator, for Texas educators.
A data analyst for every campus, in a chat box
Texas accountability is complicated: three domains, growth targets, CCMR, and STAAR performance levels that change what counts. Aviator reads your district's own STAAR, EOC, interim, and CCMR results inside CoPilot Data and answers questions the way an experienced accountability coordinator would. There are no spreadsheets and no report hunting. You get a straight answer and who to work with next.
Principals and district leaders
See where your A‑F score stands, what moves it, and which students matter most for the next letter grade.
"How close are we to an A in Domain 1?"
Teachers
Know who to pull for small group and which TEKS to reteach, from your own classes' results.
"Which of my students are one question from Meets?"
Parents
A plain-language picture of how their own child is doing and what to practice at home, in English or Spanish.
"¿Cómo va mi hijo en matemáticas?"
Answers sized to your role, grounded in your data
FERPA-safe by design
Aviator runs inside CoPilot Data under the same protections districts already rely on. Details are on our data sharing page.
Aviator FAQ
What is Aviator?
Aviator is CoPilot Data's AI chat assistant for Texas schools. It answers plain-English questions about STAAR results, A‑F accountability, TEKS, growth, and CCMR using your district's own data, and suggests the students and next steps to focus on.
Is Aviator part of Microsoft Copilot?
No. Aviator is made by CoPilot Data, a Texas company that has built accountability software for Texas schools since 2018. It isn't related to Microsoft Copilot or any other "copilot" product.
Who can use Aviator?
Principals, district leaders, teachers, and parents. Each person gets answers sized to their role and only sees the students they're allowed to see.
Is Aviator FERPA-safe?
Yes. CoPilot Data acts as a school official under FERPA, signs the Texas Student Data Privacy Agreement, never sells student data, and never uses district data to train AI models. See our data sharing page for the details.
Does Aviator work in Spanish?
Yes. Ask in English or Spanish and Aviator answers in the same language, which helps families who prefer Spanish.
How much does Aviator cost?
Aviator is priced per campus and includes everything in CoPilot Data's First Class plan. You can get an instant quote for your district.
